Taxi Mom, a Richardson-based, family-owned and operated transportation service for students has announced that it is now selling franchises. Taxi Mom was founded in 2004 by Yolanda Stevenson for the sole purpose of providing a private, dependable and safe personalized student door-to-door shuttle service. The company currently provides transportation for students in and around Allen, Celina, Crandall, Forney, N. Frisco, Garland, IL-Texas Garland, Imagine International, McKinney, Plano, Prosper, Richardson, Rockwall-Heath, Wylie ISD and is expanding to more communities.
Beginning March 1, 2021, Taxi Mom Franchising LLC will be reducing the initial fee by $10,000 through June 30, 2021 in time for the 2021/2022 school year.

Still Burton Acquires the firm Brosowske Mares Smothermon
Still Burton LLP, a Dallas based CPA firm, has acquired the firm Brosowske Mares Smothermon & Co., P.C. (www.bsmpccpa.net) effective January 1, 2021. Bill Smothermon, the remaining partner of the acquired firm, will remain at Still Burton for the next several years, actively transitioning his client relationships to Still Burton.

Still Burton, LLP Selected as the CPA firm for the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants .
Still Burton, a local Dallas CPA firm was selected as the official CPA firm for the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants after a formal review was held. They will be performing their annual audits and preparing tax returns. They will also be providing their services for the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants Continuing Education Corporation (a nonprofit organization).

Still Burton, a local Dallas CPA firm has added a new member to the team. Calley Fletcher joins the firm as Audit Manager. Calley is a CPA with a BBA in Management from the University of Georgia and received her MBA in Accounting from The University of Texas, Dallas. She also holds a master’s degree in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University. She brings over 6 years of public accounting experience to the firm as well as experience in the Corporate arena. Prior to Still Burton, Calley was a Senior Technical Accountant at Interstate Batteries. Prior to that, she was a Senior Auditor at Whitley Penn. She also spent 6 years in Rink Management with the Dallas Stars. Still Burton is proud to add her to our growing team.
